KYLA
ROWLAND AND DELIVERANCE RECORDING NEW PROJECT,
AUGUST 13TH AND 14TH, AT HORIZON STUDIOS IN ASHEVILLE, NC
There
are those projects you do because it's time to make a new
album. There are those you feel like you need to make, but
somehow are less than satisfying. Then there is a Long
Journey album which God has ordained in every
detail.
He
had been telling Bob for some time that this album needed
to be made and finally, it fell into place. Bob actually
chose most of the songs, taken from a list of tried and
true tunes from my catalog dating back more than thirty
years.

From Van Akins, the engineer, to Danny
Crawford, our producer, it was a collaborative
effort to lift up the holy name of Jesus. It began in the
selection of songs and spilled over into the singing of
them. The Holy Spirit was so sweet at times that we had
to shut down until we could dry our eyes and clear our throats.

Robin Rogers - You may have heard "Safe
Thus Far",
but Robin takes it to another place beyond any interpretation
I have ever heard.

Bill Martin - Doing what he has done on
every album; giving the best of his beautiful talent.

Barry Rowland - I believe you will feel
his joy in every note of his rich bass voice.

Damon Depew - God smiled on us one day
and sent an exceptional young man.
The Lord just doesn't make them any better in talent and
spirit.

Bob - He had just gotten out of the hospital
with a severe bout with pneumonia,
but the Lord gave him the strength to sing on the album
that he believed in so deeply.

Kyla - I am a wealthy woman. I am blessed
to continue to do what I love,
with those I love, for the one I love the most.

project: "Safe Thus Far", "When Daddy Preached
& Momma Prayed", "Royal Descendant",
"Heaven Will Fix It All", "Still Blessed",
"One Scarred Hand", "A Wall Of Prayer",
"Rejoice My Children,Rejoice", "Loving The
Lamb", & "He Will Roll You Over The Tide"

Pigeon
River Revival
This was the beginning of Pigeon River Revival
in Pigeon Forge, TN. Fifteen hundred women gathered there a few
short years ago and God met with us. Little did we know that this
meeting would ignite a fire of revival which continues to touch
the lives of so many.
From this one gathering of Godly women came the
Pigeon River Revival which includes men, women and children—precious
families gather once a year at the First Baptist Church in Pigeon
Forge to worship, maintaining the old paths. Why do so many come
year after year? Because souls are saved and wounded hearts are
mended through the glorious preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ?
Yes, that is certainly true, but the primary reason is that God
ordained it from the beginning.

on this side. Her voice no longer quivers.
I am sure it is loud and strong.” - Kyla
